ReelShop Privacy Policy
ReelShop ("the App") is a Shopify app made by Iravan Themes ("we", "us"). It lets merchants show shoppable video reels on their online store. This policy explains what information the App collects when a merchant installs it, how we use that information, and how it is deleted.
Information we collect
When you install the App, Shopify gives us access to some of your store's data. We only collect what the App needs to work:

Information about your shoppers
The App does not create shopper profiles, set tracking cookies or store shoppers' names, emails, addresses or IP addresses. When a shopper sees or taps a reel, the App only adds one to a daily count for that reel. If sales attribution is turned on, the App reads the order to find items added from a reel and records only the total number of orders and the revenue. It does not keep any customer details from the order.
How we use information
- To provide and run the App's features.
- To report usage to Shopify so you are billed correctly for your plan.
- To answer your support requests.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where data is stored and who we share it with
Reels, settings and videos stay inside your Shopify store. Login sessions and analytics totals are kept in a database on our hosting provider, Fly.io, protected by encrypted connections (HTTPS). We share data only with:
- Shopify, to run the App and handle billing.
- Fly.io, which hosts the App's server.
- Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
How long we keep data and how it is deleted
When you uninstall the App, we delete your login sessions straight away. Shopify then sends us a shop/redact request, 48 hours after uninstall, and we delete all remaining data for your store, including analytics totals. Reels and videos are saved in your own store, so you can delete them from your Shopify admin at any time.
We also answer Shopify's customers/data_request and customers/redact requests. Because the App keeps no personal data about shoppers, there is normally nothing to send or delete.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example in the EU or UK under the GDPR, or in California under the CCPA, you may have the right to see, correct, move or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. To use these rights, contact us using the details below. Shoppers who want to ask about their data should contact the store they bought from first.
Children
The App is made for businesses and is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
